Australia’s NBN Co inks $620m satellite deal
February 08, 12 by David GoldsteinThe NBN Co has inked $620 million contract with joint-venture Space Systems- Loral to provide broadband services to remote Australia.
Under the terms of the agreement, the joint-venture will build two satellites to be launched 2015 which will serve broadband to parts of Australia’s population beyond the reach of the NBN Co’s fibre-optic network.
