Introducing the world’s first Voice Gateway with Power-over-Ethernet Output - November 24th, 2005 With the introduction of industry standard Power-over-Ethernet (802.3af) Output in the RG1p and RG2p, a single Ethernet cable between the RGp and the wireless access modem solves the basic issue of providing power as well as relaying data traffic.
